I’m Twinkle Sharma, an advocate, author, and constitutional law enthusiast. I am currently pursuing my LL.M. in Constitutional and Administrative Law and have graduated from Rajasthan University Five Year Law College. I serve as the Co-Convener of Rajasthan Thinkers Forum. My book, Indian Constitutional Law, is published by Allahabad Law Agency and features a foreword by the Hon’ble Minister of Law and Justice, Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal Ji, written in recognition of my deep interest in constitutional studies. I have been Jaipur City Secretary in ABVP for the last two years, actively engaging in student and legal awareness initiatives. With courtroom experience alongside leading Supreme Court and High Court advocates, I strive to link legal intellect with meaningful public discourse and social impact.

During my internship at the Supreme Court of India, under Adv. D. Bharat Kumar, I had the opportunity to work closely with renowned legal professionals and learned extensively about the practice and procedures of the Supreme Court.
One of the highlights of my internship was working at the National Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission, where I was involved in various aspects of consumer protection law. I assisted in drafting Special Leave Petitions (SLPs), Transfer Leave Petitions, and rejoinders, which provided me with a hands-on experience in the appellate process in the Supreme Court.
In addition, I conducted thorough research on the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and analysed numerous case laws about the same. This allowed me to gain a comprehensive understanding of the legal framework surrounding consumer rights and the remedies available to aggrieved consumers.
Furthermore, I had the opportunity to work on a high-profile property dispute case, which enabled me to delve into various areas of law. I worked on cases involving aspects of constitutional law, criminal law, as well as the Arbitration and Conciliation Act. By working on this complex case, I developed the ability to analyse legal issues from different perspectives and to provide well-rounded legal arguments.

In the very beginning, I was provided with guidance on various research methods. One of the significant projects I worked on was a research study focused on assessing the "Efficiency of women police officers in Mumbai". I was involved in the entire research process, formulating a research question and drafting a hypothesis. I played a pivotal role in creating a comprehensive questionnaire and conducting a thorough literature review. My assigned area of focus was the Vasai-Virar region in Mumbai, where I delved into the plans implemented by the Maharashtra legislation. Throughout this project, I had to work closely with the senior researchers and gain hands-on experience in data collection. I actively participated in designing and implementing a survey to gather relevant data. At the culmination of this research project, I was responsible for compiling the collected data. I prepared a detailed research report, which highlighted the findings, conclusions, and recommendations regarding the efficiency of women police officers in the Vasai-Virar area. In the subsequent month, I had work on a different research project focused on Rehabilitation and Resettlement concerns related to acquisitions at the state level. Here, my main task was to conduct research on project-induced displacement and displacement caused by disasters. I identified gaps and shortcomings in previous researches and delved into the root causes behind the implementation challenges. I conducted research in Akkrapatti Village. I collected data on various aspects such as occupation, compensation, housing facilities, and civic amenities provided to individuals affected by acquisitions and displacements. Through this experience, I gained a deeper understanding of the practical implications of legal research and the importance of addressing the concerns of affected populations.

I had the incredible opportunity to intern at the BSK Legal – Solicitors and advocates under Supreme Court advocate Sanjay K. Chadha. This internship, although conducted virtually, provided me with invaluable insights into the art of advocacy and the presentation of arguments.
As part of my daily routine, I attended virtual Supreme Court proceedings, immersing myself in the live cases and observing the arguments presented. In the evenings, I diligently delved into the legal domain of the morning's case laws, thoroughly reading and analyzing them. Additionally, regular group sessions were organised where we discussed specific fields of law, enabling us to gain a comprehensive understanding of various legal areas.
I was entrusted with the responsibility of conducting research for ongoing cases. I was assigned to work on cases spanning trial courts, consumer courts, company courts, the Competition Commission, Competition Appellate Tribunal, Customs, Excise and Gold (Control) Appellate Tribunal, all High Courts, and the Supreme Court of India. This diverse exposure allowed me to gain practical experience in areas such as criminal law, consumer law, writ petitions, commercial disputes, civil matters, and arbitration proceedings.
During the internship, the lectures covered a wide range of topics, including Insurance Law, Labour Law, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Environmental Law, RTI Law, Law relating to Women, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Arbitration, Personal Laws, and practical aspects of litigation. Active participation and attentive listening were encouraged, and we were expected to take detailed notes, which often included Sir's personal anecdotes related to law, advocacy, and litigation.

One of the aspects of my internship was participating in sessions that focused on the rights of marginalized individuals, including women, children, LGBTQIA+ individuals, Dalits, minorities, workers, and the homeless, among others. These sessions explored topics such as gender as a social construct, manifestations of relationships, sexual harassment in the workplace, honor killings, the criminal justice system, the Juvenile Justice Act, journalism and democracy, the Indian education system, and the Draft of National Education Policy. I actively participated in the daily Street Medicine program for the homeless, where I visited recovery shelters. My responsibilities included conducting surveys to assess people's entitlements in various homeless settlements, working towards securing rations, pension entitlements, and other income support benefits for the underprivileged. This experience allowed me to witness the challenges faced by the homeless population firsthand and actively contribute to their well-being. As part of our collective efforts, we visited Madrasas for boys and girls and engaged with members of the Muslim community to address issues related to education, citizenship, and livelihood. We conducted sessions with students and community members, focusing on the Constitution and fundamental rights, promoting awareness and empowering individuals with legal knowledge. Throughout my internship, I had the opportunity to visit various courts in Jaipur, including the District and Sessions Court, Rajasthan High Court (Jaipur Bench), Family Court, District and State Legal Services Authority, Alternative Dispute Redressal Centre, and Consumer Courts. These visits provided valuable insights into the legal system and mechanisms for protecting women and children. I also engaged with stakeholders such as schools, colleges, media persons, administrative setups, NGOs, activists, and filmmakers, fostering collaborations and promoting collective action.

Organised the Chhatra Shakti Sammelan in Jaipur, uniting 2,813 students from across the city in a powerful show of solidarity. The gathering served as a platform to protest against rising incidents of paper leaks, unjustified fee hikes, and growing atrocities on students.
Organised a civic reception and cultural program in Jaipur for the Kanaklata Barua group of SEIL Tour 2023. The delegates met Hon’ble Governor Shri Kalraj Mishra and shared their enriching experiences of the national integration tour.

Organised a panel discussion on the Uniform Civil Code with students of Kisan Law College, fostering legal awareness and encouraging critical discourse on constitutional reforms among young legal minds.
Organised a powerful protest at the Police Secretariat, Jaipur, alongside hundreds of concerned youth, raising a united voice against the alarming rise in rape cases and the deteriorating state of women’s safety. The protest called for urgent systemic reforms, swift justice delivery, and stronger accountability from law enforcement agencies.
Organised a thought-provoking panel discussion on “The Collegium System and the Future of Indian Judiciary” under the banner of Students for Development (SFD), Jaipur, in collaboration with Rajasthan University. The session was graced by the presence of retired Justice Raghuvendra Rathore Ji, whose insights enriched the dialogue on judicial transparency, accountability, and reform.
